FOLD Ireland awards

Congratulations to FOLD Ireland and in particular the perseverance and hard work of Tina Donaghy, FOLD director, where they won the regeneration category and went on to win the overall Allianz Community Housing award at the ICSH National Housing Conference on 27th September 2017.  We were delighted to be main contractor on this project working in conjunction with Simon Adeyinka – ASI Architects, John Nolan – Austin Reddy & Company Quantity Surveyors and Cathal Glass of ISD Engineering.



St Davnets Churches work

We are pleased to have commenced refurbishment work at two churches on the grounds of St Davnet’s Hospital in Monaghan.  Working with Des Byrne from architects this project involves roof repairs, cast-iron gutter repairs and replacement, lime plastering and internal repairs to rain damaged walls and floors

PMVT – 11 new units

This project is now completed with 11 new units now available for the PMVT trust to add to their growing portfolio of properties.  With 10no 1 bed apartments, 1no 2bed townhouse, zinc roof’s, PV panels,  a platform lift, parking bays including 1no disabled, green areas and benches this project design enhances the area and provides top class accomodation.

Malahide Castle – roof works

24 new social houses Fingal County Council

Francis Haughey has commenced work on the construction of 24 new houses on behalf of Fingal County Council in Balbriggan.  This 12 month project will include different types of dwelling being constructed to a high standard including road access and green areas

Newbridge House

Francis Haughey has just completed refurbishment and new services works at Newbridge House, Donabate on behalf of Fingal County Council.  The works included refurbishment of the courtyards, new kitchen facilities, new toilet facilities and upgrading of services.  For further information on Newbridge House see

Grangegorman – Clock Tower works

Francis Haughey is delighted to announce they will be commencing works on the Grangegorman Clock Tower – with work due to commence on May 3rd 2016.  These works include provision of a lightning conductor, enabling works including a ramped access and amenable other works.  Originally built in 1814 for the Richmond Penitentiary, this iconic tower is one of the most well-known of the 11 protected structures on the Grangegorman site in North Dublin – see for further information on the Grangegorman project.
