Company Quality Policy

Francis Haughey Building & Engineering Contractor specialises in the construction and refurbishment of buildings including civil engineering works attached thereto, both in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. The nature of the firm's activities places particular emphasis on experience, expertise, capability, reliability and quality.

The objective of the management of Francis Haughey is to provide these services in a manner which conforms to the Clients' contractual and regulatory requirements.

In order to achieve this objective, it is the policy of Francis Haughey to establish and maintain an effective and efficient Quality System planned and developed in conjunction with other management functions. The determination of conformity of work to contractual and regulatory requirements is made on the basis of objective evidence.

The quality system of Francis Haughey is designed to ensure :-

1. Compliance with designs and specification.
2. That standards of workmanship and specification are achieved.
3. That regular checks during the progress of works are initiated.
4. That there are reviews, project strategy programmes, all relevant procedures/controls from commencement to completion.
5. That all employees complete Safepass training in accordance with our Health and Safety policy.

All persons involved in the management of the firm are required to understand, implement, and maintain the firm's Quality Policy and objectives.

The effective operation of the system is the responsibility of the Quality Manager but ultimate responsibility rests with the Proprietor.
